Privacy Policy
Last Updated: August 6, 2026
The short version: Pullster does not sell, rent, or share your personal data, and never uses it for advertising. Pullster collects only the small amount of information needed to run the app and keep trading trustworthy. Anything you post or share with other users is yours. You decide what to make public.
1. Introduction
Pullster is a trading name of Steadfast Systems, the legal entity behind the app. "Pullster" is used throughout this policy to refer to both. Pullster helps you manage your trading card collection and discover and coordinate trades with other collectors.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Pullster handles and how. By using Pullster, you agree to the practices described here.
2. Information Pullster Collects
Pullster collects only what is needed to operate the app. That includes:
2.1 Account Information
- Handle - the public username other users see
- Display name - an optional name shown to people you connect with
2.2 Verification & Recovery (optional)
- Phone number - collected only if you choose to verify your phone. It is used solely to confirm it is really you before you trade, and as a possible account-recovery method. It is never used for marketing.
- Recovery email - optional, used only to help you recover access to your account.
2.3 Trade Information
- Your collection and trade-block lists - the cards you track and the ones you mark as available to trade
- Mailing address - collected only if you opt into trading by mail, and revealed to another trader only after you both agree to a trade, so cards can be shipped
- Trade activity - offers, trade history, and related messages
2.4 Content You Create
- Posts and photos - the pulls, cards, and captions you choose to share
- Messages - what you send to other users in the app
2.5 Basic Technical Information
- Limited device and app information needed to operate the service and keep it secure (for example, app version and basic error logs).
2.6 Early Access Waitlist
If you join the early access waitlist before Pullster is publicly available, Pullster collects:
- Email address. Used for a single purpose: to notify you when early access opens. Pullster does not add waitlist addresses to any marketing list. You may request removal at any time by emailing contact@pullster.app.
- Platform preference. iOS, Android, or web, used to prioritize which release comes first.
- Optional message. Any additional detail you choose to provide on the form.
Joining the waitlist does not create an account. If you do not go on to register, your form submission is the only information Pullster holds about you.
2.7 Website Analytics
Pullster measures visits to its public website, in order to understand whether people are finding it. This applies to the website only and not to activity within the app. The analytics software is self-hosted on Pullster's own server, and no data is shared with Google Analytics or any other third-party analytics provider.
- No cookies, and nothing stored on your device. This is also why the site presents no cookie banner.
- Collected: the page visited, the referring site, and general characteristics of your browser, such as device type, browser name, and country.
- Not retained: your IP address. It is used momentarily to derive an approximate country and is then discarded, never stored.
- No profiling, and no tracking across other sites. Visits are grouped under a temporary identifier that regenerates daily, so a returning visitor cannot be recognized and a visit cannot be linked to an account.
3. What Pullster Does Not Do
- Pullster does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- Pullster does not share your data with advertising networks or data brokers.
- Pullster does not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Pullster does not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Pullster does not track you across other apps or websites.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
If you verify your phone number, Pullster sends a one-time account verification message by SMS through its messaging provider.
- These are transactional messages for account security only.
- Message frequency varies (typically one message per verification request).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- You can reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance.
- Pullster does not send marketing or promotional texts.
- Pullster does not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Pullster shares information with service providers only as needed to operate the app (for example, its messaging provider sends the verification text). The above excludes text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. How Pullster Uses Your Information
- Run the app - manage your collection, posts, and trades
- Keep trading trustworthy - verify identity and reduce fraud and abuse
- Connect collectors - power the social feed, friends, playgroups, and trade discovery you choose to use
- Support and security - respond to your requests and protect the service and its users
6. What Other Users Can See
Pullster is a social app, so some information is shared with other users by design:
- Your handle, posts, photos, and the cards you mark as available to trade are visible to other users according to your settings.
- Your display name is shown only to people you've connected with (such as friends or trade partners).
- Your mailing address is revealed to a trade counterparty only after you both agree to a by-mail trade.
You control what you post and share. Please use good judgment with anything you make public, and don't share information you wouldn't want other users to see.
7. Service Providers
Pullster uses a small number of service providers to operate the app. These include a messaging provider (Twilio) to send verification texts, and cloud hosting to run the app. These providers process information only as needed to provide their service to Pullster, and not for their own purposes.
8. When Pullster May Disclose Information
Pullster may disclose information where required to by law, such as in response to a valid legal request, or where necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Pullster users, the public, or Steadfast Systems.
9. Your Choices
- Edit or delete content - you can edit or remove posts, listings, and other content you've created.
- Delete your account - you can request deletion of your account and associated personal data.
- Opt out of texts - reply STOP to any verification message.
10. Data Retention
Pullster keeps your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to operate the service. When you delete your account, Pullster removes your associated personal data, except where Pullster is required to retain limited information by law.
11. Children's Privacy
Pullster is intended for users 18 years of age or older. Pullster does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please make contact and it will be removed.
12. Changes to This Policy
Pullster may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of Pullster after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
13. Trademarks & Card Content
