Community Guidelines
Last updated: August 26, 2026
Pullster is a place for MTG collectors to track what they own, show what
they pull, and trade with other players. These guidelines describe what
we expect from everyone here, what is not allowed, and what happens when
someone crosses the line. They apply everywhere in the app: posts,
photos, captions, comments, profiles, trade notes, draft rooms and
direct messages.
The short version. Be honest about your cards. Follow
through on what you agree to. Treat people the way you would at a local
game store, in front of everyone. Almost everything below follows from
those three.
1. Be honest about your cards
Most of what makes trading work is accurate description. When you list,
post or offer a card:
- Describe condition honestly, including wear you would notice in
person: edge wear, scratches, clouding, whitening, bends.
- Get the printing right. Set, finish and treatment change what a card
is worth, and "close enough" is how disputes start.
- Never pass off a counterfeit or a proxy as a real card. Proxies are
fine to own and fine to talk about. Trading one as genuine is fraud,
and it is the fastest way to lose your account here.
- Do not use photos of a card you do not have. If a photo is a stand-in
rather than your actual copy, say so.
2. Trade in good faith
- Send what you agreed to send, in the condition you described, in the
timeframe you agreed to.
- Do not change the deal after it is accepted, and do not pressure
someone into a trade they are backing out of.
- Do not use Pullster to set up a trade and then move it somewhere else
to avoid our reporting tools.
- If something goes wrong, say so early. Most bad trades are a shipping
problem or a misread photo, and both are fixable when people talk.
Pullster is not a party to your trades. We do not verify identity, hold
your cards, or guarantee that a trade completes or turns out as expected.
Section 7 of our Terms of Service covers this in
full, and it is worth reading before your first by-mail trade.
3. Treat people decently
Not allowed, anywhere in the app:
- Harassment, threats, intimidation, or following someone around the
app after they have asked you to stop.
- Hate speech or attacks based on race, ethnicity, national origin,
religion, disability, sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation.
- Impersonating another person, a store, or Pullster staff.
- Sharing someone else's private information, including their address,
phone number or workplace, without their consent. Trades involve real
addresses. Treat one you are given as belonging to that person and
nobody else.
- Sexual content, graphic violence, or content promoting self-harm.
4. Pullster is for trading, not selling
Cards move here by trade. Pullster is a trading
community, not a marketplace. We are not a place to sell cards, and that
includes selling them to each other.
Not allowed:
- Offering a card for sale or asking for money instead of cards. That
covers "for sale", "message for price", "make me an offer", "cash
only", and naming a price you want to be paid.
- Soliciting buyers, accepting payment for cards, or arranging a cash
sale through Pullster and completing it somewhere else.
- Advertising your listings on another site, your storefront, or your
store's inventory.
Completely fine, and the whole point of the app:
- Talking about what a card is worth. Values are how trades get
balanced, and they are built into the app for exactly that.
- Saying what you are hunting for, marking cards as available to trade,
and negotiating what makes a trade fair.
- Splitting or reimbursing the actual cost of shipping on a by-mail
trade. Covering postage is not a sale.
If you want to sell a card, please use a platform built for selling. That
is not a snub. Selling well needs buyer protection, payment handling and
dispute machinery that a trading community should not pretend to have,
and you will have a better time on a site designed for it.
5. Keep it about the cards
- No spam, unsolicited marketing, or repeatedly posting the same thing.
- No chain messages, giveaways that require recruiting other people, or
anything shaped like a pyramid scheme.
- No schemes to inflate prices, fake demand, or manipulate what a card
appears to be worth.
6. Meeting in person
Local trading is one of the best parts of this hobby and it carries real
world risk that an app cannot remove. Meet in a public place, ideally a
game store or another busy venue. Bring someone if you can. Trust your
read on a situation over your desire to complete a trade. You are
responsible for your own safety at a meetup, and Pullster does not
supervise, attend or vouch for anyone you meet.
7. Pullster is for adults
Every account holder must be at least 18. Child sexual abuse and
exploitation is prohibited without exception and is handled under our
Child Safety Standards, which describe the zero
tolerance policy and how to report it.
8. Do not abuse the platform
- Do not scrape, overload, or attempt unauthorized access to the app or
its systems.
- Do not run multiple accounts to evade a ban, dodge a bad reputation,
or make yourself look like more than one person in a trade.
- Do not file false reports to punish someone you are in a dispute
with. Reporting is for genuine problems, and abusing it wastes the
time of the people who need it.
Reporting a problem
Every post and every profile has a report option in the app. Reports come
to us directly with the reason you selected. You can also block someone,
which hides each of you from the other without telling them you did it.
For anything that does not fit a report, including safety concerns and
problems with a trade in progress, use Contact Support in the app or
write to contact@pullster.app.
For copyright, see our Copyright and DMCA Policy.
What happens when someone breaks these rules
We review reports and decide based on what happened, whether it appears
deliberate, and whether it has happened before. Depending on that, we
may:
- Remove or hide the content.
- Warn the account.
- Restrict what the account can do, including its ability to trade.
- Ban the account permanently.
- Block the email address and phone number behind it, and, where our
device-level controls allow it, the device, so a banned person cannot
simply register again.
Serious cases skip the earlier steps. Fraud, threats, and anything
involving a minor result in immediate removal.
If you believe we got it wrong, reply through Contact Support and ask us
to look again. Tell us what you think happened. We would rather reverse a
mistake than defend one.
How these relate to the Terms
These guidelines explain, in plain language, what Section 6 of our
Terms of Service requires. The Terms are the
agreement between you and Steadfast Systems LLC, and they govern if the
two ever disagree. We update this page as the app changes, and the date
at the top tells you when it last changed.
